The service of Remembrance is always moving. This year was no exception and the church reflected themes of the poppy flower.
It was a striking scene as we entered the church. The simple display of large flowers near the entrance into church with the cross drawn by junior church members at harvest on the wall behind it and the sun shining brightly in through the window seems to sum it up perfectly.
Reminding us of the debt we owe to those who paid so much for us in war and also the price paid by God's own son so that we can enjoy the freedom we now have.
Thank you to those who "decorated" the church, it set the secne for our reflections so well.
